Flaherty provides update on progress of federal PPP Canada program
A new federal public-private partnership office will be up and running next year, Canada’s finance minister told more than 1,000 attendees at a recent P3 conference.
Jim Flaherty said PPP Canada Inc. is currently in the process of selecting its first chairman after being created in February of this year.

Starting February 1, 2009, peak-hour tolls for light vehicles between Highway 403/QEW in Burlington and Highway 400 will be 19.85 cents per kilometre. Peak-hour tolls for light vehicles between Highway 400 and Brock Road in Pickering will be 19.25 cents per kilometre. The off-peak toll rate for the entire highway is being held at 2008 levels.
