German construction company Hochtief (HOTG.DE) said it plans to list its Hochtief Concessions AG unit on the Frankfurt stock exchange this year.
If "suitable capital market environment exists", the initial public offering will take place before the end of 2009, the company said late Wednesday.

The Bangalore-based GMR Group, along with Turkish company Limak and Malaysia Airports Holding Berhard Airports, has built the new airport terminal of the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (ISGA) in Turkey. The consortium had won the contract on the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model in July 2007, bagging its rights for 20 years at a cost of more than Rs 3,100 crore.

Saudi Arabia is seeking foreign investment for a series of projects to modernise and expand the country's ageing rail infrastructure, Italy's financial daily Il Sole 24 reported on Tuesday. Saudi Arabia's first major rail project in 50 years, The Landbridge project, will soon invite tenders for 1,600 kilometres of new rail lines.
The project aims to transform Saudi Arabia's existing rail network into a world-class freight and passenger rail link across the country.

Thailand's Ministry of Transport is considering a plan to develop a THB30 billion ($898 million) motorway project to open a new transportation channel between central Thailand and the Northeastern region.
The 196-kilometer road project, from Bang Pa In to the Northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, will be implemented under a public-private partnership scheme, Transport Minister Sophon Zaram told reporters.

Transport Minister Steven Joyce announced the review yesterday aimed at increasing the effectiveness of planning, funding and accountability under the LTMA.

Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited (MIIF) (MIIF.SI) said on Monday it has agreed to sell 71.6 percent of its interest or a 4.5 percent stake in Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund (MEIF) to a number of investors for S$132 million ($94.62 million).

The PPP projects are supposed to cover 150 kilometres of national highways. These are to be managed in three packages: sections of the D1 highway make up the first and third packages; while construction of parts of the R1 dual carriageway in central Slovakia making up the second package.
