Sheffield is England's third largest metropolitan district and England's greenest city, with 61% of Sheffield set adjacent to and partly within the Peak District National Park. More than 530,000 residents live within the city boundaries and Sheffield has an economy worth over £8bn a year and employs over 245,000 people.
