Third quarter revenues reached a record $707 million, with increases reported in each of the four operating segments due primarily to the recent acquisitions of Lockerbie & Hole and South Rock, both in Alberta.
Gross margin (representing revenues less direct costs and expenses) increased from $68.7 million (12.8% of revenues) in the third quarter of 2008 to $76.2 million (10.8% of revenues) in the third quarter of 2009.

BAA and Cintra posted nine-month results broadly in line with forecasts on Wednesday and flagged steadying traffic at airports and highways.

Macquarie Infrastructure Group has reported an improvement in traffic and revenue across its toll roads in Europe and North America from a low point earlier this year.
MIG, which is heavily exposed to overly indebted toll roads in the US, today released figures showing a 1.6 per cent increase in traffic across its toll roads for the September quarter, compared with 0.6 per cent growth in the June quarter and a 6.4 per cent decline in the March quarter. Revenue increased on all of its major toll roads.

407 International Inc. announced today revenues of $156.6 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009 compared to $152.9 million for the same period of 2008. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization ("EBITDA"(1)) totalled $128.3 million for the third quarter of 2009 compared with $125.7 million for the same period of 2008. The Company reported net income of $12.9 million for the third quarter of 2009 compared with net income of $60.3 million for the same period of 2008 due to unfavourable net non-cash adjustments relating to inflation-linked financial instruments.

Carillion, which mostly gets revenue from government work and public-private partnership (PPP) projects, made an underlying pretax profit of 62.6 million pounds ($101 million) in the six months to the end of June, on revenue 13 percent higher at 2.72 billion.

Australia's leading toll concessionaire Transurban reports toll revenues up a solid 7.6% to A$779m in the financial year ended 30 June, and a stronger increase of 17.8% to A$480m in net earnings before interest taxes depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). Adjusting for one-off items EBITDA of A$583m was an 11.5% increase on the previous financial year. Cost reductions of A$27m were reported achieved. TOLL road operator ConnectEast says it is working to grow traffic and revenue on its EastLink tollroad, after reporting an annual net loss of $531.5 million.
The group also announced an equity raising of up to $421 million as it posted the result for the year ended June 30, 2009, which compares to a net loss of $9.33 million in the prior year.
