Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Group plans to raise A$1.75 billion ($1.5 billion) selling stock and some assets to repay debt, said a person familiar with the plan. The owner of energy and transport assets in the U.S., the U.K. and Asia may announce details of the fundraising as early as Oct. 7, said the person, declining to be identified because the plans aren’t public.
