The Bangalore-based GMR Group, along with Turkish company Limak and Malaysia Airports Holding Berhard Airports, has built the new airport terminal of the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (ISGA) in Turkey. The consortium had won the contract on the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model in July 2007, bagging its rights for 20 years at a cost of more than Rs 3,100 crore.

Bangalore-based infrastructure major, GMR Infrastructure Limited, today bagged the Chennai Outer Ring Road project in Tamil Nadu from the state government for Rs 1,100 crore. This is the 8th road project and first state highway project bagged by the company’s Highways division since 2001.

New Delhi: Infrastructure developer GMR Infrastructure Ltd has emerged as the winning bidder for the coveted Rs1,460 crore Hyderabad-Vijayawada four-lane highway project.
The company was one of the five bidders on the project, which was mired in controversy after several rounds of litigation in the Delhi high court and the Supreme Court over who would be allowed to place bids for the project.

GMR Infrastructure announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary GMR Ambala Chandigarh Expressways (P) has inaugurated highway project at Chandigarh on December 10.
This 35 km stretch on the National highway 21 and 22 (NH-21/22) was executed on BOT toll model at an investment of Rs 5 billion. The concession period for this project is 20 years and it took two and half years to complete.
