As regards eligible projects, the RFQ provides that these should not be less than 20% of the estimated project cost. India's Port of Jawaharlal Nehru has extended the bidding deadline for its proposed fourth container terminal project from April 30 to June 1. The move comes after the port authority held a pre-application meeting with prospective bidders on April 15. Transportation Minister Denis Landry issued the request for the design, construction and financing of the 27-kilometre stretch between Murray Road (Route 127 near Oak Bay) to St. George (Route 770); the 28-kilometre section from the Letang River to Lepreau; selected upgrades to existing sections of Route 1; and the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of the entire Route 1.
